TÊTE À TÊTE is a performance in which I present a variety of 2nd hand objects, imbued with various types of value--use, historical, sentimental, market, etc--but also slightly ambiguous and symbolic. I then assign 'topics' to these objects and ask people watching to participate in a non-verbal 'discussion' with me by holding the objects between our heads. I would like to continue to make this performance in other places and cultural contexts with new people.
